Academy Library

The Mythica Library is a vast and ever‑growing collection of knowledge created by both the Academy’s staff and its students. Within its shelves and archives, you can find an incredible variety of written works: official lesson materials, research papers, spell theory notes, poems, personal journals, short stories, fanfics, world‑building texts, and countless other creations born from imagination and curiosity.

To maintain quality and safety, all submissions must first be reviewed and approved by a Scribe within the Discord server. These Scribes act as guardians of the Library, ensuring that every entry is appropriate, well‑presented, and ready to be shared with the community. Once approved, the work is added to the Library for all students to read, learn from, and enjoy.

Scribes may choose particularly noteworthy or influential works to feature on the Spotlight page. These highlighted works rotate regularly, offering readers a chance to discover new favorites, rediscover forgotten gems, or explore texts that are currently shaping discussion within the archives. The Spotlight is updated often, so be sure to check back and see what’s been brought into focus next.

Library Policies

  • All submissions must be approved by the scribes. All below guidelines are at the discretion of the scribes.
  • Books must not contain profanity, pornography, suicide, drug use, other adult themes, or otherwise breach Mythica's Code of Conduct.
  • Books looking for library approval must be completed or have it checked every chapter.
  • Cover artwork must be original, created by the author, or from a free image use site.
  • Books must be original content, thus written by you!
  • Books must be submitted in English or Dutch.
  • Books must fit into the below categories. 

Book Categories

  • Supplemental Text & Textbooks: Text approved or written by teachers for use in their courses. 
  • Fanfiction - Mythica: All fiction that takes place in the Mythica universe and/or uses Mythica characters. Fanfictions of fandoms outside of Mythica will not be uploaded.
  • Fiction: All original stories written by you.
  • Personal Reference: Student journals, diaries, etc. created only for the use of the student themself.
  • Guidebooks: These can be written by staff and students. If you have a guide you created send it in if you wish to share it with everyone else.
