Halfblood

Half blood People are individuals born from the union of two different species, carrying a blend of both lineages within them. This mixture often results in a fascinating combination of physical traits, sometimes subtle, sometimes striking. No two Half bloods look exactly alike, and their appearances can vary even among siblings.

Halfbloods are a unique group. Halfbloods aren't a species as is. They are a combination of 2 species. Which makes them always vary in shape, traits, colors, in their everything. But it also makes their situation complex as they never truly fit in anywhere. They will always struggle to fully blend in no matter where they grow up.

When it comes to their families, they generally always grow up with their mothers, fathers to if the parents are together. But in the case of a divorce it is rare to see a Halfblood grow up in their fathers realm.

Traits and weaknesses of the Halfblood

Halfbloods have the same traits as their parents. Either partially or fully. Due to the mixing of species it is entirely possible that a Halfblood looks like one parents but takes the traits for the other. Or that they look like both parents and take both sets of traits. It really differs for each Halfblood.

But what counts for the traits also counts for the weaknesses. But in the case of weaknesses Halfbloods are very much unlucky. They automatically have the weaknesses of both parents, of both species. And we mean all of them. It is also very much possible to be child of 2 halfbloods and carry 4 species. but you'd have 4 complete sets of weaknesses.

Halfblood combinations

Not every half‑blood pairing is possible, and many combinations are simply too incompatible to result in a healthy child or keep the mother alive. Differences in species, size, physiology, and even traits like horns or wings all play a role in determining whether two beings can safely produce offspring.

Because of this, some pairings are strongly discouraged. For example, a small creature such as a mouse‑hybrid female should never attempt to bear the child of a dragonborn the physical strain would be far too great, endangering both parent and child.

Meaing of the colors:

  • Green: Compatible
  • Orange: Can happen but is risky
  • Red: can't even have kids

Species not in the current lore are not added to the sheet and will need to be discussed with a scribe.
