Lands of Mythica

All the realms known to Mythica are gathered and described on this page. Here, students can explore each world’s unique landscapes, cultures, and magical properties, gaining a deeper understanding of the vast multiverse they are part of. Whether you’re researching your own homeland or discovering realms you’ve never heard of, this page serves as your gateway to the worlds beyond Mythica Academy.

Terra

Terra is the realm humans know simply as Earth. What matters is that Terra stands apart from the magical realms in one defining way: it possesses no natural magic of its own. Unlike the other realms, where magic flows through the land like breath or blood, Terra is quiet. Still. Mundane.

Humans themselves are a curious case. Every human is born with access to the general knowledge of their world, its cultures, its histories, its mythologies, and the countless pantheons that have shaped their civilizations. They study gods, legends, and ancient stories, believing them to be symbolic or long forgotten.

What they don’t know is the truth: Terra is deeply connected to the magical realms, woven into the same cosmic tapestry, even if its people remain unaware. To most humans, Terra is the only world that exists. To the students of Mythica Academy, it is simply one realm among many, quiet, unmagical, but far more important than it appears.

Luminis

Luminis is the darkest of all the realms, a land where night has settled permanently, as if the sky itself has forgotten how to welcome the sun. Here, the stars burn brighter than anywhere else, and the moon hangs low and heavy, casting long silver shadows across the land. The air is crisp and cold, rarely rising above 10 degrees Celsius, giving the realm a quiet, haunting stillness.

Despite its eternal darkness, Luminis is far from barren. It is home to dark elves, vampires, and astral elves, each species shaped by the realm’s unique conditions.

What keeps Luminis alive, what allows forests, glowing flora, and strange bioluminescent creatures to flourish, is the netwo  rk of magical leylines that crisscross the realm. Luminis may be dark, but it is not dead. It is a realm of quiet beauty, ancient magic, and resilient life, a place where the night is not feared, but embraced.

Veloriax

Veloriax is a realm defined by its breathtaking extremes, a land where the terrain itself seems alive with power. Towering mountain ranges dominate the horizon, their peaks rising so high they disappear into swirling clouds and shimmering atmospheric magic.

One of Veloriax’s most striking features is its floating islands, massive chunks of land suspended in the sky by ancient, mysterious energies. Some drift lazily like clouds, while others remain anchored in place by glowing chains of runic stone.

High in the mountains, where the winds howl like ancient spirits, live the dragonfolk. They guard their treasures fiercely, not only gold and gems but also knowledge, artifacts, and ancestral relics passed down through generations.

Deep below, in the labyrinthine caverns and glittering tunnels, dwell the dwarves. Masters of stone and metal, they mine tirelessly, uncovering precious ores, enchanted crystals, and forgotten relics buried since the dawn of the realms.

Faeloria

Faeloria is the most magical and mystical of all the realms. Magic flows freely here, not as a force to be summoned, but as a natural part of existence. Even the air seems to shimmer with soft luminescence, carrying whispers of ancient spells and forgotten songs.

The realm is vast and diverse, made up of two great continents, each with its own landscapes, cultures, and magical phenomena. Between these continents stretch massive, glittering seas filled with strange aquatic wonders.

Mytherra

Mytherra is the realm that most closely mirrors Earth in its geography. Its continents, oceans, forests, and mountain ranges resemble those of Terra, yet everything feels just a little more vibrant and more alive.

What truly sets Mytherra apart is its inhabitants. This realm is home to animal‑human hybrids, beings whose forms blend the traits of both species in countless unique ways. Their appearances vary widely, but each hybrid carries a deep connection to the natural world and the instincts of the animals they resemble.
