Dwarves

Dwarves in Mythica are a stout, stone‑born people shaped by ancient mountain magic. They value craftsmanship, clan loyalty, and unbreakable oaths. Their halls echo with the sound of forges, their feasts with loud songs and stronger ale. In battle they are as unyielding as the rock they revere, and in daily life they carry the pride and stubbornness of a people carved from the bones of the earth itself. In Mythica they are well received.

Dwarves in Mythica are a people shaped by stone, fire, and the weight of ancient memory. Every dwarf carries a sense of being part of something older and larger than themselves. Their culture revolves around craft and legacy. A dwarf’s work is never just practical; it is a statement of identity. Smiths treat their forges like sacred shrines, runecarvers speak to the stone as if it were alive, and engineers push the limits of dwarven ingenuity with creations that sometimes impress and sometimes explode. Tools and weapons are often named, passed down, or inscribed with runes that tell the story of their maker. To break a tool carelessly is to insult the hands that forged it.

Loyalty is their greatest virtue, and grudges, once earned can last almost as long as their stone‑carved monuments. Yet dwarves are equally fierce in their gratitude, and a single act of kindness can forge a bond that lasts a lifetime.

Life is a blend of industry and celebration. The forges burn day and night, filling the halls with the rhythmic thunder of hammers. But when the work is done, dwarves feast with unmatched enthusiasm. Their ale is strong enough to make an elf see double, and their songs are loud enough to shake dust from the ceiling. They laugh heartily, argue passionately, and tell stories with the same pride they put into their craft.

In battle, dwarves are as unyielding as the stone they revere. Their shield walls are legendary, and their axes and hammers are designed to break through armor and arrogance alike. They are slow to anger, but once roused, their fury burns hotter than their forges.
