In the world of Mythica you can choose between several different species. Each species has its own unique traits and skills. All also will give their own challenges to the players in the larp. Human
Humans come in countless shapes, sizes, and backgrounds, most of them hailing from Terra, known to others simply as Earth. What they lack in mystical power, however, they make up for through creativity, determination, and an almost stubborn resilience that lets them push forward even when the odds are stacked against them.
In Mythica, humans stand alongside elves, hybrids, vampires, and countless other races but because of the force of their spirit. They adapt quickly, learn fast, and form bonds with a warmth and openness that often surprises longer lived beings. Their ingenuity allows them to build, invent, and dream beyond their limitations, while their hearts drive them to connect across cultures and realms. Humans may be ordinary by nature, but their will to grow and their capacity for hope make them anything but small.
Elves
Elves are beings who seem to exist outside the ordinary flow of the world. They have pointed ears often colored to their subspecies. They often live for centuries, and as a result their sense of time is profoundly different from that of shorter‑lived races. They on average become between 400 and 500 years old.
Elven culture is usually intertwined with magic and the gods. They have some of the strongest magic users in all of the lands. The ones with the biggest temples and cities to house themselves in.
Different kinds of elves embody different aspects of this heritage. Something you can read about below. Seeing as each subspecies of elf has their own qualities and unique quirks to them.
Vampire
Vampires are seen as cursed and unwanted by society. Only welcome in Luminis the realm where the sun never shines. They need to drink blood in order to survive. Making them hunted and seen as monsters rather then a sentient being.
In history vampires have always been hunted. Making it so seeing a vampire in public is rare. they will hide what they are at all costs. Even if it means breaking the law to protect themselves and the ones they love.
They have several skills, qualities and flaws. From born vampires who can easily hide to turned ones who are cursed with never walking among men. From daywalkers who walk in the light to nightwalkers that shall never touch the sun.
Animal Hybrid
Animal People are a diverse and vibrant species whose forms blend human features with traits of land‑dwelling animals. Their appearances vary widely, some look almost entirely human aside from a pair of ears or a tail, while others resemble their animal counterparts far more closely, with fur, claws, snouts, or other distinctive traits that mark their lineage. No two groups are exactly alike, and their variety makes them one of the most visually and culturally dynamic peoples in Mythica.
Many Animal People inherit instincts and abilities from the creatures they descend from. Some possess keen senses, sharp reflexes, or natural agility; others have a playful or mischievous streak that makes them excellent climbers, runners, or tricksters. These traits aren’t just physical, they often influence personality, behavior, and even the roles they take within their communities.
Dragon Hybrid
Dragon hybrids are humans whose bodies carry echoes of draconic majesty, whether in subtle hints or striking, fully draconic features. Many bear curved horns, patches of shimmering scales, elongated ears, or eyes that glow like embers beneath the skin.
They are known for their strength in every sense: physical, magical, and social. Dragon hybrids possess a natural presence that draws attention the moment they enter a room. They carry themselves with quiet confidence, aware of the ancient power reflected in their lineage. Some channel draconic resilience or elemental magic, while others inherit a commanding aura that makes them natural leaders. Whether feared, admired, or respected, dragon hybrids rarely go unnoticed, for the legacy of dragons lives boldly within them.
Dwarves
Halfblood
Half blood People are individuals born from the union of two different species, carrying a blend of both lineages within them. This mixture often results in a fascinating combination of physical traits, sometimes subtle, sometimes striking. No two Half bloods look exactly alike, and their appearances can vary even among siblings.
Because of their mixed origins, Half bloodPeople often grow up with a broader understanding of the world, learning to navigate multiple traditions, expectations, and ways of life.
